  1. How do I get involved in this lawsuit? I am beyond frustrated with this company. They overcharge me each time I fill up and there customer service will not listen or do anything about my complaints.

  2. we lost over 1000 to this company plus they screwed up our credit report ! one month we owed 80.00 the next nothing then the next after370.00 after telling them over a year before to come get their tanks ! because they refused to do what we asked when we asked a local company could not hook up we had 1000 in the account they claimed they delivered twice but we never got invoices from them and the tanks read exactly what they were before they claimed to deliver !

  3. Would like to join this lawsuit myself. Abused, mistreated, billed for services not provided, and abandoned with no resources to obtain further propane, until sent to collections for refusing to failure to pay for services not provided.

  4. Just a day ago, 10/05/2023, a customer complained on Facebook that they could not log into their account. They were prompted to agree to a new Online Terms Of Use document that would then allow them into their account. Buried deep within that document is new language that outlines a clause to binding arbitration which essentially eliminates the ability for consumers to pursue any legal action against Amerigas. One must agree to this to get into their account. As the Facebook post screenshot reads that shows this new Amerigas requirement of their Online Terms Of Use:

These Terms provide that all disputes between you and the Company with respect to you use of the Company Online Site will be resolved by BINDING ARBITRATION, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. YOU AGREE TO GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO GO TO COURT to assert or defend your rights under this contract, except for matters that may be taken to small claims court, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. Your rights will be determined by a NEUTRAL ARBITRATOR and NOT a judge or jury, and your claims cannot be brought as a class action, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. Please review Section 13 (“Dispute Resolution and Governing Law”) for the details regarding your agreement to arbitrate any disputes with the Company.

Anyone interested in reading consumer complaints can find them on the BBB and Facebook

    One consumer posted this:
“When I called, I heard them speaking mandarin Chinese only reason i know is cause I was a USMC translator. They were talking about a customer complaining about last month being billed for product not delivered then they were instructed to hang up if the bills did not match what was on computer”.

    1. I have no problem going through a neutral arbitrator. I have all the evidence of fraud I need to get at least $1000 back from my account

  5. Amerigas is still switch & bait practices with billing. They deliver price and customer service gives you a different price per gallon on your bill. Class action against this company should be enforced to the fullest extent of the law. They still charge hidden charges and mistreat their customers. They are extremely rude on phone and harass their customers..

  6. I am disgusted with Amerigas. I am simply trying to become a new customer. With slogans like: “Our commitment to serving customers runs deep…”, and, “When it comes to running your life smoothly, there’s no better partner than AmeriGas.”, and “Don’t take a chance on just any propane company this season. Go with the propane pros at AmeriGas…”, I chose to “join the family”. On February 16 after talkig to an ‘establish new account’ person and getting a price for new account setup, tank swap-out, and first fill services, I paid Amerigas $839.27 from my checking account believing that paying upfront would expedite my order. Ten (10) days have now passed without a single call from any Amerigas person. I must call in daily to try and determine the problem and understand what is going on. I consistently get transferred to the Phillippines who ask their scripted questions, then assure that everything is taken care of and ok. Meanwhile NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!! Isn’t this negligence and malpractice? While Amerigas was quite keen on taking my payment and removing money from my checking account, they have rendered NO SERVICES to me.
